Quick justice.
Since Google captured the image below this intersection has been
turned into a full blown stoplight. The intersection is near two
elementary schools (one public, one Catholic and right across the
street from each other) which is why I think it was beefed up. This
morning something was wrong with the lights and they were flashing red
both directions.
to the left. We were stepping into the road, but pulled back because
the approaching car that had started to slow down decided not to and
passed us going about 30 mph. I turned my palms up and raised my
shoulders in sort of a disgusted "what gives?" fashion as the guy
passed. Well, besides not noticing, or perhaps not caring, about us crossing
the driver also failed to notice the policeman directly behind him.
The policeman let us cross and then sped down the street and pulled
the guy over. That's quick justice.
